5000 Reasons to Support Young Women’s Trust

Last year, C&C Search and C&C Search Academy, partnered with the Young Women’s Trust, an amazing feminist organisation that campaigns for economic justice for women*. The charity provides vital support to those between 18-30 years of age, who live on low or no income, and who want to build a better future for themselves.

For us, empowering, teaching and helping those around us grow, is at the heart of everything we do. As an all-female team, each coming from a diverse background, we know the challenges that face women today, but we also know the incredible power, ambition and talent that we all possess.

To date, we’ve been working with the Young Women’s Trust by volunteering as part of their CV coaching and job application scheme. This year, we want to go even further in our bid to support this charity, and so we have set ourselves the target of raising £5,000! At the time of writing, we’re currently standing at £170, so we have quite some way to go.

What will your donation go towards?

Your donation will help the Young Women’s Trust reach women across the UK in a variety of ways including outreach services, research and campaigning, including:

In 2020, the Young Women’s Trust worked tirelessly to help those who needed it most when COVID-19 hit and the first of the lockdowns was implemented. Here are some of their key achievements from the year.

3,690 women coached as part of the Work It Out scheme.
7,055 free coaching sessions given to help young women learn new skills and develop strong mental health.
Set up an emergency Covid-19 fund, and raised over £300,000 which helped support 2,500 women.
