The Role:

Job Title: HR Business Partner

Salary: £70,000 (DoE)

Location: The City

What would I be doing day to day?

Key duties:

  • Work with Senior HR Team to further develop the HR function and ensure it is meeting the strategic objectives of the firm.
  • Contribute to business planning and strategic discussions by providing commercial advice and support on all HR operational issues.
  • Develop and sustain strong business relationships with client groups.
  • Challenge, coach and support Partners and Managers in the development of their people management skills.
  • Work with he wider business to influence and support change management across the practice.
  • Work with senior leadership on the implementation of policies and practices including performance management, headcount management, parental leave, alternative working and mentoring.
  • Support annual lawyer performance and salary moderation process.
  • Identify training needs and liaise with L&D team.
  • Help run a commercially sound salary and bonus review process.
  • Work with senior HR team and the business on various change-management projects.

What is the company looking for?

  • Legal background preferred but not essential
