HR Generalist / Senior HR Advisor
London, West End | 4 days office-based, 1 day WFH
£65,000 – £80,000 + discretionary bonus + benefits
12 month FTC considered
We are partnering with a highly regarded, fast-paced professional services organisation to appoint an experienced HR Generalist / Senior HR Advisor to join their London-based HR team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident, commercially minded HR professional who enjoys true generalist work, partnering with managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle. You will work closely with the Head of HR and HR Coordinator to deliver a seamless, responsive and high-quality HR service across the business.
The role will cover a broad range of people activity, including employee relations, performance management, absence, conduct, grievance and disciplinary matters, HR projects, engagement initiatives, workforce planning, HR data, policy, compliance and day-to-day advisory support. You will also provide guidance and oversight to the HR Coordinator, ensuring work is prioritised effectively and standards remain consistently high.
The successful candidate will bring around 5+ years’ experience in a broad HR generalist or HR operations role, ideally gained within financial services, professional services or another high-performance corporate environment. Strong UK employment law knowledge, excellent stakeholder management skills and confidence advising managers on people matters are essential. Experience working within centralised or global HR structures would be highly beneficial.
This role would suit someone pragmatic, credible, detail-oriented and warm, who can build trust quickly, manage sensitive matters with discretion and deliver both operational excellence and thoughtful people support.
Key requirements:
5+ years’ HR generalist / HR advisory experience
Strong employee relations and UK employment law knowledge
Experience across the full employee lifecycle
Confident stakeholder management and advisory capability
CIPD Level 5 or 7 preferred, or equivalent experience
Financial services or professional services background highly desirable
