C&C Search Partner with Young Women’s Trust

C&C Search and C&C Academy are pleased to announce that we will be partnering with the Young Women’s Trust to help young women in England and Wales.

Empowering women to achieve their full potential and grow into strong, confident individuals is at the heart of what we do. Equality for women has come a long way since the days of the suffragettes, but there’s still a long way to go.

Young Women’s Trust provides support to women aged 18 to 30, with a focus on those who live on low or no pay but who want to build a better future for themselves and their loved ones. The charity works on a number of vital campaigns to help women develop the skills they need and have access to opportunities in both their careers and personal lives.

How we’re helping the Young Women’s Trust

Getting your foot in the door for any job can be a very long and hard journey. Even more so if you don’t know what to put on your CV or what to say at an interview. As we live and breathe recruitment, we wanted to make sure that our skills are being used as much as possible in our partnership, so we are volunteering as part of the ‘Work it Out’ program

The Work it Out program provides free CV, cover letter and application form assistance to help unlock young women’s full potential and discover new opportunities that they may not have otherwise been able to access, or even had the courage to.

In particular, this project focuses on those who are either living on low or no income, have a disability, are out of work, have caregiving responsibilities or care leavers, or have few or no formal qualifications.

“As an all-female team at C&C Search we choose to stand with all young women. We want to see all women, from all backgrounds, thriving, not just surviving. We believe that through our partnership with The Young Women’s Trust we can pay forward some of the opportunities that we have been so fortunate to have and through this partnership be a small part of opening up access to opportunity for ALL women not the few.”
