Job description

C&C Search is currently recruiting a part-time Event Manager to join a membership organisation who offer a mix of in person and virtual events with lots of ministers, think tanks and policy makers.

Salary: £45,000 pro rata

Hybrid: 3 days, 2 days a week in the office in Waterloo

Duties:

  • Manage the full event programme including launches, networking events, roundtables, dinners, awards, webinars and a conference
  • Source and book suitable internal and external venues for in person events, as well as organising and running online webinars and roundtables.
  • All event logistics, including planning, distribution lists, invitations, on the day running, marketing and preparing a post event follow up programme.
  • Budget management.
  • Research opportunities for new event topics and approaches, aligned to our strategic priorities and work

About you:

  • You have experience working as an event manager in membership or similar
  • You have good computer skills and experience with virtual events (Zoom)
  • You are good at working in a small team and can take full responsibility for the events
  • You are calm, organised and have great organisation skills
