The Job:
Job Title: HR Generalist
Hybrid working: London - Hybrid (4 days in office 1 day from Home)
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000pa + Bonus
What would I be doing day to day?
Key duties:
- Supporting the full employee life cycle for all operational and administrative HR matters
- Managing and owning the onboarding and offboarding process
- Responsible for managing the payroll process
- Manage and produce HR reporting
- Supporting with Learning and Development
- Supporting with Recruitment Associate with the graduate recruitment process
- Arranging new starter inductions including mandatory e-learning and other training, as appropriate.
- Tracking and supporting maternity and paternity leave processes including drafting correspondence, logging paternity leave requests and planning for maternity returners
- Supporting any events and changes throughout the employee lifecycle e.g. holiday and absence management, internal transfers or promotions and produce associated correspondence, ensuring that the HR system and all records are updated accordingly
- Supporting the HRBPs with Training and Competence and Performance Development Process
What is the company looking for?
- 1-2 years' experience in an HR Generliast role working in a medium sized Asset Management/ VC/ PE or similar, Financial Services organistaion
- Studying towards, or part CIPD qualified is desirable
- Workday experience is desireable
- Ability to multi-task and manage a varied and busy workload
- High level of IT literacy especially HR Systems, MS Office and Excel e.g. Mail merge, V-lookups, Pivot tables
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality handling sensitive information
- Professional and confident with a can-do attitude and the ability to build professional relationships
- Confident communicator, able to deal comfortably and credibly with staff at all levels
- Good attention to detail
- Excellent spoken and written communication
- Service oriented, proactive with a 'can-do' attitude
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to plan and prioritise
- Highly collegiate approach and a strong team player
