Are you an organised, detail-driven admin assistant who enjoys working with professional stakeholders and supporting meaningful policy activity? We are seeking a standout Policy Administrative Assistant for a 4-month maternity cover starting in January.

Position: Administrative Assistant
Salary: £32,000–£35,000 (DoE)
Hybrid set up: Hybrid (3 days wfh)

Key responsibilities for this Administrative Assistant position:
  • Scheduling, convening and preparing committee meetings (agendas, invites, papers)
  • Minute-taking, action tracking and circulating follow-ups
  • Ensuring members receive communications, updates 
  • Acting as a link between the Policy Team and members
  • Maintaining and using the CEAP database
  • Light diary coordination for the Policy Director
  • Supporting events (registrations, attendance management)
  • Providing operational support to the Policy Director and interacting with Ops and the Secretary General
What background and experience are the company looking for?
  • 2+ years in administration roles
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and proactive
  • Strong written communication 
  • Experience managing diaries and databases
  • Confident outward-facing communication and stakeholder engagement
  • Ability to drive follow-ups and keep members connected
