Key responsibilities:
- Provide full clerical and administrative support to the General Manager and sales team, including scheduling, travel bookings, expense management, internal reporting, and general office coordination
- Support front-line sales activities through client communication, negotiation support, and executing tasks under direction from senior sales staff
- Identify and escalate any operational issues or concerns, ensuring prompt resolution with guidance from senior team members
- Manage full delivery and documentation processes for import/export activities, ensuring compliance with regulations
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, logistics providers, and the London Process Centre to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Prepare, check, and process key business documents including shipping documents, contracts, invoices, and insurance certificates, using SAP and internal systems
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including Accounting, Finance, Risk Management, and overseas departments
- Experience supporting within a Trading / Finance business
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SAP)
- Ability to manage shifting priorities and meet strict deadlines
- Basic financial and accounting knowledge
- Knowledge of import/export procedures and trading documentation
- Experience in a multinational trading environment in a client-facing support role
- A good standard of secondary education; a degree is preferred but not essential
