C&C Search is currently recruiting an Executive Assistant to support the CEO within a highly respected, award-winning organisation in the pensions sector. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced C-Suite EA to join a collaborative CEO Office team.

Position:
Executive Assistant – supporting the CEO within the CEO Office
Salary:
£50,000–£55,000 (depending on experience)
Hybrid set up:
5 days a week in the office, office is based in Croydon

Key responsibilities for this Executive Assistant position:
  • Own and manage the diary of the CEO, ensuring effective prioritisation and scheduling.
  • Assemble high-quality briefing packs and pre-reads; coordinate agendas, objectives, and success criteria for meetings.
  • Support inbox management, including triage, drafting responses, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Act as an ambassador for the CEO Office, managing stakeholder relationships and acting as a professional first point of contact.
  • Plan and coordinate complex UK and occasional international travel, logistics, and hospitality.
  • Manage CEO Office administration, including expenses, spend tracking, and SharePoint file structure.
  • Maintain trackers for actions, approvals, and decisions, following up as needed.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of CEO Office workflows and cover the Senior EA role when required.
What background and experience are the company looking for?
  • Proven experience as an Executive Assistant supporting a CEO, in a fast-paced environment.
  • Essential to have experience supporting a CEO or a member of the C-Suite, as part of a collaborative team supporting the senior leader. This could include working alongside other Executive Assistants, a Chief of Staff, or a Business Manager.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multitask, prioritise, and work autonomously.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills.
  • Confident using technology for team coordination, including expert use of Microsoft Office Suite (especially Outlook).
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism.
  • Flexible, proactive, and improvement-minded, with a collaborative, no-ego approach.
