This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive operations team on a 10month FTC within a highly respected organisation. Key responsibilities for this IFA Assistant position:
- Provide essential support to Partners, Financial Advisers, and Private Client Managers in managing client relationships and new business
- Obtain valuations, performance data and prepare client reports and application packs
- Prepare and process documentation throughout the client journey, including applications, withdrawals, and client onboarding
- Manage and maintain accurate client data
- Liaise with providers and clients to resolve queries via email, phone, and post
- Oversee post, courier arrangements, and general office administration
- Support with office operations including reception duties, meeting room bookings, and supplies management
- Participate in ad hoc projects and data management initiatives
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in an IFA administration or within a similar financial services support role
- Ideally you will be immediately available or on short notice
- Ideally you will have strong knowledge of ISAs, GIAs, pensions, offshore bonds, and trusts
- Preferably you will have familiarity with UK financial regulation, GDPR, and Consumer Duty requirements
- Excellent IT skills and ability to adapt to new systems quickly (experience with XPLAN advantageous)
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused mindset
