Position:
Receptionist – Front of House, supporting wider team, acting as the face of the business

Salary:
£40,000 depending on experience

Hybrid set up:
Fully office-based, Monday to Friday (08:15am– 5:00pm)

Key responsibilities for this Receptionist position:
  • Welcome all visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression
  • Answer calls via Microsoft Teams and direct or take messages as appropriate
  • Manage meeting room bookings and maintain pristine presentation of rooms
  • Serve refreshments and coordinate in-house catering for meetings and events
  • Handle incoming/outgoing post and courier arrangements
  • Ensure communal areas including kitchens and stock cupboards are tidy and well-supplied
  • Assist with photocopying, scanning, document binding, and setting up Teams/Zoom calls
  • Support with office orders, supplies, and ad hoc tasks from Office Manager and HR
  • Assist with occasional onboarding duties, such as office tours and interview coordination
What background and experience is the company looking for?
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a confident and professional manner
  • A flexible, positive attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Calm and composed under pressure with strong attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous reception experience in financial services or professional services
