The Role:
Job Title: Corporate Tax Manager
Salary: £72-96k (DoE)
Location: London - 1 day in the office
What would I be doing day to day?
Key duties:
- Provide expertise and guidance on the relevant financial interdependencies and be the first point of contact for technical and commercial advice relating to company taxation and tax accounting
- Provide thought leadership on the regulatory policy and approach to corporation tax
- Review and develop the organisation's regulatory tax policies and data reporting templates
- Be the expert and focal point for corporation tax and statutory tax accounting internally and with external stakeholders
- Plan, oversee and deliver work deliverables on time and to a high standard through effective project management and partnership with other teams across the organisation
- Take ownership of continued self-expert development and the professional development or team members.
What is the company looking for?
- Extensive experience providing advice on corporation and statutory tax in a highly regulated, matrix environments is essential
- A recognised tax/accounting qualification is a prerequisite for this role
- Strong and demonstrable knowledge of financial modelling and credit metrics
- Excellent communication with the ability to effectively communicate with non-finance specialists.
- Experience supporting internal and external stakeholders
