Key responsibilities for this Front of House Receptionist position:
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff with a warm, professional approach
- Create a welcoming first impression and ensure guests are looked after throughout their visit
- Offer refreshments and support with hosting, ensuring high service standards
- Manage meeting rooms, including setting up, clearing down, and maintaining tidy, presentable spaces
- Keep numerous busy kitchen areas fully stocked, organised, and running smoothly throughout the day
- Support with general office upkeep, including tidying shared areas and replenishing supplies
- Assist with room bookings, visitor logs, and general reception enquiries
- Handle incoming calls, take accurate messages, and ensure timely responses
- Support the team with courier bookings, ad hoc administration, and any tasks that help keep the office operating efficiently
What background and experience are the company looking for?
- You will need to be immediately available or on short notice
- Previous experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or administrative role
- Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong multitasking and organisational abilities
- A proactive, positive and professional approach
